We maintain a deliberately modest research footprint, appropriate to school scale, yet intellectually serious. Staff inquiry cycles inform curriculum design, assessment moderation, and inclusive pedagogy. Student projects follow explicit ethics procedures and publish internally. When limitations emerge—insufficient data, unexpected confounds, or a design that underperforms—we document them and adjust. That is not a flaw; it is the work.
Methods We Teach
- Quantitative: sampling frames, measurement validity, descriptive and inferential statistics, error analysis.
- Qualitative: interviews, thematic coding, reflexivity notes, triangulation.
- Design & Engineering: prototypes, usability testing, benchmarking, and version control discipline.
Dissemination
Outputs are shared in school showcases, internal journals, and community briefs. We avoid overclaiming reach and prioritise clarity, integrity, and usefulness. This habit serves students well beyond school, wherever careful thinking is the currency.
